Attention Taft High Music Alumni
As I reported in a post titled “The Music Man”, our high school music director from Fall 1964 to Summer 1995, Ken Kamp, succumbed to cancer and passed away last October.
Yesterday I learned that on March 5th, 2007 from 8PM to 10PM, a tribute concert will take place at Taft High School. Short notice, but if you’re a Taft music alumnus, you won’t want to miss it.
The “First Annual Ken Kamp Tribute Concert” will feature an 18 piece band playing Ken’s most recent charts/arrangements! It should be a wonderful event where alumni can share their stories of the good old days and enjoy some of Ken’s music. Who knows […]
